{Real Invitation Style | Lulu Paper}
I have the great pleasure of working with Austin's own Leah Duncan of Lulu Paper. She's a hip and incredibly talented graphic designer who makes events taking place in Austin and beyond a must-attend event for every invitee! Leah has her own voice (a beautiful one) as a designer, and manages to blend her vision with her client's ideas seamlessly. She loves paper, but doesn't limit her designs to it! Check out the lace-wrapped invitations above! Do visit her website at www.lulupaper.com. Thank you, Leah, for sharing these fabulous designs with us!

{A few clever ideas}
Last month I photographed a wedding that the mother of the bride (of PB&M Designs) so much of her creative talent designing. The ideas were so clever and elegant that I can't help but share a few! The first his a handmade and hand painted cake topper. As an alternative to the traditional flowers and tulle, they used oranges and ribbon. They selected ribbon in complimentary black and green. Finally, I love the idea of a basket of blankets with a "keep warm" sign for an outdoor wedding. In this case, there was a large covered and screen porch with many lounging areas. Blankets were perfect for a January wedding in Texas!
